Frequently asked questions:

What are your hours?
We are open 9 am through 5 pm, Tuesday through Friday, 8 am through 3 pm Saturday.

Where are you located?
The violin shop is situated 2 blocks West of New Braunfel's central plaza, near the Brauntex Theatre and the Railroad Museum.

Do You Give Lessons?
Yes. Lessons for both violin and fiddle are available on a limited basis to adults and young adults.

Do you do repairs?
DVS provides both repair and restoration for stringed instruments and their bows. Mr. Duckworth began his training in Houston's Winters Violin Shop in 1980, More recently he has studied with gigenbaumiesters Horst Kloss and Hans Jurgen Nebel. Repair estimates are offered at no cost to the customer.

What instruments do you carry? DVS offers a varied selection of  used and vintage instruments, we also freguently sell new violins made and/or distributed by Howard Core, Scott Cao, and Eastman.

Do you accept trade ins? DVS welcomes trade ins for those wishing to upgrade to a finer instrument.
